These terms apply when you use the Lumira website, its clinic directory, and our WhatsApp messages (together, “Lumira”). By using Lumira you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. [REVIEW WITH A LAWYER: identity of the contracting entity]

1. Lumira is information, not medical care

Lumira gives general information about planning a pregnancy, pregnancy, birth and caring for young children. It is not medical advice and does not create a relationship between you and any health professional. Please read our medical disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

In an emergency, go to the nearest hospital immediately.

2. The clinic directory

  • We check each listing ourselves and show the date it was last verified. Details such as opening hours, services, fees and insurance can change at any time, so please call ahead where you can.
  • A listing is not a recommendation of any particular health worker or treatment, and we are not responsible for the care a facility provides.
  • Facilities do not pay to be listed, and payment does not affect where or how they appear.
  • If a listing is wrong, please tell us and we will check it again.

3. WhatsApp messages

Messages are free from Lumira, but your mobile network may charge for data. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP. We may pause or end the service, or change how often we send messages.

4. Using the site fairly

Please do not:

  • submit false information through our forms, or information about someone else without their permission
  • try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site
  • copy the directory in bulk, or use it to send unsolicited messages to facilities

5. Our content

The text, design, logo and directory on Lumira belong to Lumira or the people who licensed them to us. You are welcome to share links to our pages, and to print or share a guide for personal, non-commercial use with credit to Lumira. For anything else, please ask us first. 6. Other websites

We link to other websites and, when you press play, show videos and podcasts from YouTube and Spotify. We are not responsible for their content or how they use your information.

7. Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Lumira accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be complete, current or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, Lumira is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on information on the site. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot be limited by law. 8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using Lumira after a change, the new terms apply.
